I've been looking for things that really say "Maine," and here are a couple--I think these would accompany chowder--especially at this time of year, when the weather is so raw. Moxie (a caffein-loaded soft drink) used to be manufactured here in Maine. Oyster crackers aren't all that unusual, but everywhere you go--even fast-food restaurants--seem to serve them. Go figure.
